Don't get me wrong but there are hundreds of good artists nowadays like florence and the machine, adelle, amy whinehouse...to name a few. but you also would not be able to deny the kind of trash music that we have today. imagine waking up to the screeching sounds of miley cyrus, taylor swift. yes, taylor swift. in fact the girl looks gorgeous but she cannot sing a tune that you would be delighted to sing. plus she reminds me of a swan. well a big swan.
teenage girls are just so easy this days, they tend to want to look like lady gaga or nikki minaj. and its just annoying, imagine the shows that teenagers are watching nowadays like jersey shore? and vampire diaries. sabrina the teenage witch series was way better, it has some edgy concepts, original storyline. i dont like to sound like a moralistic individual but i miss those days when you can watch tv and see simple teenagers, not teenagers who try so hard to look like adults, i mean 12 year old girls dress like 23 year old girls nowadays, where the hell would the transition be when they reach that actual age. there is no concept of fresh anymore, plus, where is the originality, i dont see children nowadays creating their own trend and style right. i just wish miley cyrus would have done it in a subtle way, and not scream out to the world that she is a bitch or act like lindsay lohan---that is seriously not the way to maintain populariy, selena gomez has done better steps with her simple movies like monte carlo and dating someone her own age. well ill get back to you on this one.
